Description
The S9012 PNP Transistor is a general-purpose silicon transistor optimized for low-power amplification and switching applications. Featuring a maximum collector-emitter voltage (Vce) of -25V and a collector current (Ic) rating of 500 mA, it’s well-suited for driving small loads and amplifying signals in electronic circuits. The S9012 provides a power dissipation of 625 mW and a DC current gain (hFE) ranging from 64 to 202, depending on the operating conditions, ensuring versatility across a range of uses. Housed in a TO-92 package, it offers a collector-base voltage (Vcb) of -40V and an emitter-base voltage (Veb) of -5V, with a transition frequency (fT) of approximately 150 MHz. Commonly paired with its NPN counterpart, the S9013, this transistor is ideal for audio amplifiers, timers, and small-scale switching tasks in DIY projects and consumer electronics. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C, making it a dependable and economical choice for hobbyists and professionals.
